DENTAL IMPLANTS

A long-lasting choice, implant-supported dentistry brings you as close to growing new teeth as possible. Expertly placed in the same bone that once supported teeth, you’ll enjoy the strength and function of a natural tooth. Modern porcelains produce a result so life-like, you may forget they aren’t your natural teeth.

Dentures can also be attached to implants when more than one missing tooth needs to be replaced. The stability and sense of confidence you develop with implants will leave you smiling.

Our doctors use the latest technology to collect all the data necessary to help plan your restorative case. Digital x-rays, 3D mapping, models, and photographs prove valuable.

Our doctors use highly regarded specialists to bring all components of your case together. But at all times, they serve as the quarterback of the entire plan.

Dr. Burnett has been married for 35 years to his wife Trish. They share the idea of family being a most important part of their life. In addition, Dr. Burnett and his wife enjoy traveling, hiking and exploring together.

In his spare time, Dr. Burnett enjoys different hobbies including but not limited to classic car restoration, photography, home and yard projects, genealogy, and woodworking.

‘‘This is the best Dental office I’d ever seen. (and I’ve seen a lot) The staff is very nice and gentle. I had a root canal procedure and it went exactly how they said it would. I had concerns such as healing and would my BITE be affected. They assured me everything would be fine, and that’s exactly what happen. I now have the courage to complete the dental implant procedure. I already know it’s gonna go smooth based on the root canal.’’

Activity. Keep physical activities to a minimum immediately following dental implants. Treadmill walking and recumbent bicycling are acceptable the first few days. If you choose to exercise vigorously (running, weight lifting and aerobics, for example), throbbing or bleeding may occur.
The effects of anesthesia and pain medication may delay your appetite immediately after dental implant surgery. You can resume eating as soon as you feel hungry.
Sneezing will cause undesired sinus pressure. If you need to sneeze remember to keep your mouth open. Keep to a soft diet, always remembering to chew on the opposite side. You may swish gently with a salt water solution.
